The drive had been long and tiring. They’d travelled for miles across the beautiful countryside in search of a mythical road, the talk of numerous legends and stories told by wandering folk. Search for the scenic route is what he’d always been told by friends and people like him. However, never had he imagined that it might take him this far in his search or quest.

The sun began to set in the distance and soon the cold chill of the outback would be all that was left to remind them that they were alive out here in the midst of the nothingness. Perhaps it was meant to be this way he wondered. Cold, aimless and in search of something not certain could be found.
