The collaborative party, run by Ransom Note and Optimo, will return this summer for a special 24 hour edition in the English countryside joined by friends and family for a showcase of leftfield, musical extravagance.

Taking place on the 1st of June, the 24 hour edition of Watching Trees will be held in the North Wiltshire countryside with a handful of final tickets available via Resident Advisor now. Powered by Ransom Note and Optimo, the return of the festival has been hotly anticipated having taken a one year break in 2023.

Commencing at 14:00 on the 1st of June and concluding at 14:00 on the 2nd – the event will run for 24 hours, with music programmed from start to finish across a broad array of sounds, styles and genres designed to be experienced sequentially in the true  free rambling form best associated with both crews.

The first edition took place back in 2022 and featured guests such as Pleasure Pool, Joy O, Josey Rebelle, Aba Shanti-I, Debonair, Oceanic, 12th Isle and more.

Names for the upcoming party have yet to be revealed with the crew keeping their cards close to their chest.

“We have a full program of music but not 24 hours solely ‘in the dance’. Watching Trees offers you an excursion, a musical odyssey from our minds to yours. We will begin at lunchtime on Saturday 1st June with bands and DJs performing all manner of wild planet sounds and as evening transitions into night, we move fully into the dance and then much later, slipping into the weird zone… ”

The event is now nearly sold out. Final tickets HERE.
