Here at Ransom Note we seek to provide a space for individuals and communities from all walks of life to share their stories. There is a lot of work that we need to do, internally and externally, to ensure we’re fairly promoting and supporting the work of, and providing a platform for, marginalised and underrepresented voices.
Through our editorial, events and record label we commit to representing, supporting and promoting artists, creatives, events and labels from marginalised and underrepresented backgrounds, to provide an equal snapshot of the artists operating in and out of the shadows.
We commit to highlighting charitable, political and social initiatives across the website and welcome external submissions for coverage.
We are committed to shaping a new working model that will allow us to create more job and internship opportunities at Ransom Note for marginalised groups.
We have made ad banners available for several Black-led charities which can be accessed and downloaded for free from our Linktree bio.
Feel free to get in touch with us if you have any questions, ideas or think there’s something we should be covering: editorial@theransomnote.co.uk
