25AV – a platform helmed by Kiosk Radio, Radio 80000 and Radio Raheem – have launched a competition for young European creatives.

The open call asks 18-24 year olds who are based in the EU to work in a collaborative pair and submit previously unpublished five minute audiovisual works.

As with the 25AV platform’s previous proposal, which has culminated in 18 collaborative AV pieces, this call out requires there to be a visual artist and a music producer who are based in different EU countries.

Pieces must be submitted by 31st May with the winning pair being given the opportunity to join the existing 25AV artistic residency hosted by iMAL (Brussels) in October 2023. They will also be invited to showcase their work at a series of events between October and December in each of the partner’s home cities: Brussels, Milan and Munich.

25AV was set up to foster cross-border collaboration between music producers and visual artists and to help spotlight emerging talent from the music and visual arts scenes. Their first call out for artistic collaborations involved 18 couples whose work is now being shared weekly through the 25AV website, alongside a series of interviews that dig deeper into each collaboration.
