Premiere: Cervo – Pescaia II
Downtempo, balearic bliss on Earthly Measures.
The sand was a radiant golden as they looked out at the delicate blue beyond. In the distance it became difficult to actually dissect where the ocean ended and the sky began – not that this was an issue if you could believe in floating between each.
The heat was potent, at times it became hard to breathe.
They had been driving for over an hour across the backbone of the island, there was little out here but for the occasional cactus and jagged rock.

Earthly Measures is a great label spotlighting exotic sounds, often with tropical tendencies. This new record comes from Cervo and features a nice assortment of downtempo and ambient gems, all with a balearic sensibility.
