Cosmic Campout Returns to Wales for Its First-Ever Five-Day Edition

Cosmic Pineapple is taking things deeper this summer with a Cosmic Campout gathering heads at Spirit Horse in Wales from July 24–29 for a five-day immersive experience of nature, ceremony, sound, and community – the biggest edition yet.

Pitched across 200+ acres of wild Welsh land, this is the kind of event that doesn’t really fit the festival template. Yes, there’s music – secret DJ sets in a yurt on a hill (disco, psychedelic funk and cosmic grooves from the likes of Dan Beaumont, PineappleMan, Tom La Bomba and Sassy Wylie) – but that’s only one thread in a much richer weave. Think daily yoga and meditation, breathwork, rites-of-passage ceremonies, voice work, ecstatic dance, sauna, sound healing, fireside stories under the stars, and forest school for the kids. All meals are included. The nervous system reset is, apparently, mandatory.

Workshop facilitators span a broad and genuinely interesting spectrum: Natural Symphony bring an immersive audio-visual journey through the cosmos; Red Owl Medicine Woman and Angie Litvinoff each lead rites of passage ceremonies rooted in womb wisdom and reclaiming voice; Ramanja hosts a Bobinsana Tea Ceremony; Pixi Rose leads Shamanic Kundalini Yoga; and Tantra Yoga Ibiza offer a session on conscious connection and relating. Jennifer Rosa closes nights out with a ceremonial fireside concert under open sky.

On the music and movement side, Ecstatic Grooves bring their trademark ritual dancefloor energy, Zoe Heighton weaves sound with nature connection, and Francesca Love brings visionary art alongside her music. A nod too to the kids’ programme: Nereida Olives runs the Deer Tribe Forest School, Sara Mo helps under-7s process their emotions through her Emoties People framework, and Cat Crowther offers nature-based workshops for the young ones roaming the acres.

Spirit Horse founder Shivam O’Brien will share stories and wisdom around the fire throughout. The whole thing is curated by Kim of Cosmic Pineapple, who describes it simply as “an intimate gathering of wild and creative spirits in beautiful nature.”
