Harold Faltermayer will forever be remembered for writing Axel F, the soundtrack to a million playground breakdance routines. After creating one of the finest electro riffs of all time, Faltermayer became a giant of synth-heavy 80s film scores, penning classic work to accompany The Running Man, Top Gun, Fletch and more, and working with everyone from Georgio Moroder and Donna Summer to Pet Shop Boys and Billy Idol.
