Essential tech house on Gestalt Records from a rising producer with a bright future.

The night was only just beginning, the start of something new and exciting was just around the corner. Buried in the blackness was a fresh beginning – a genesis of sorts. Soon they would all come to know this night as the moment in which it all changed, in which enemies became friends and bitterness ended.

The room was crowded with solitary dancers, full of people who had travelled to experience the rebirth first hand. As the music played loudly in the densely packed space it was remarkable to see the smiling faces of those who’d made the pilgrimage. They would be rewarded very soon.

Ed Hodge is set to release a four track EP via Gestalt Records – an EP which draws upon elements of tech and deep house paired with odd sensibilities which make the record a unique and distinctive offering. This track, ‘Genesis’, was the highlight for us but the rest of the record is just as strong.
