The Avalanches Tease Potential New Album With ‘Whatever Happened To’ Trailer

Music

The last time Australian musical miscreants The Avalanches made a record was almost a millenium ago. 2000's 'Since I Left You' was a party album;  yearning soul samples, block beats, and fucked up genre mashing. With dates announced including Field Day in London in June, the band have now teased us with a promo. It makes a nod to a possible (please!) documentary about where the hell they've been, what they've not been doing and features the band, Royal Trux, Ariel Pink and Father John Misty all asking about the last two missing decades. We hope it's a proper debauched tale. With a happy ending.

The Avalanches play at Field Day, London on 12th June 2016. Full info is HERE.
