Lithuania’s longstanding forest gathering prepares for another edition in its woodland home near Spengla Lake.

Running from July 10-14 in the Varėna District, Yaga continues its 22-year tradition of blending the world of the electronic with community-focused programming in a natural setting.

This year’s theme, “Off the Map,” reflects the festival’s emphasis on exploration beyond conventional festival experiences. The organizers describe it as “a space where fixed paths fade and instinct takes over,” encouraging attendees to navigate the grounds through discovery rather than structured itineraries.

Four stages—Valley, Pinegrove, Duskwood, and Outmost—will host artists including Anatolian Weapons, Fantastic Twins, Pletnev, Polygonia, and Sunju Hargun across various genres.

Beyond music, the gathering maintains its reputation for workshops, wellness sessions, and participatory activities. The program includes yoga, meditation, craft workshops, and dedicated family areas.

A new addition for 2025 is a 20-course tasting dinner featuring ingredients foraged from the festival grounds and surrounding meadows. The event continues to encourage attendee participation through volunteering and workshop contributions, maintaining the community-driven approach that has defined it since 2003.
