Manana Festival Announce New Artists Joining Them For 2016

Cuba’s Manana festival has announced the next wave of artists joining the bill for 2016. Taking place from the 4th-6th of May the line-up will include A Guy Called Gerald, Mala, Quantic, Plaid, Sherwood & Skip McDonald, Galis, Madam X, Sofrito Tropical Discotheque, Obbatuké and Gifted & Blessed. Manana will host several unique collaborations between Cuban artists and the international artists on the line up.
For the 10 days leading up to the festival Manana has secured Museo de La Musica which will become a fully equipped rehearsal room and EGREM, the National record label of Cuba, studios have been booked so artists performing can record collaborations before the festival takes place. The festival will have full access to the city and have partnered with The NYU Music and Social Change Lab, this is to help bring positive social change to the community of Cuban musicians.
Fernando Dewar and Alberto Lescay are also ambassadors for the event.
