Brian Leeds breathes life into his original moniker for a new album forthcoming on Incienso Records.

Due for release in February 2022 – this is the first new material which Brian has released under the guise of Huerco S since his critically acclaimed album “For Those Of You Who Have Never (And Also Those Who Have)” in 2016.

Titled “Plonk” the album features ten parts. It’s inspiration and conceptual described by both the label and Brian as follows:

“A cavernous machine belonging to no specific time on earth or place in history, Plonk’s conception was rooted in Brian’s childhood love of cars – ‘especially rally ones’ – allied with fascinations for their engine mechanics, the frequencies of the cylinders at full tilt, ‘the countless hours and money that went into researching and developing these cars…a factor of people all working on this one design.’ As visualized by Peruvian surrealist Jonathan Castro Alejos, the imposing almost prehistoric shapes foreground the intangible and abstract the ‘aspect, spirit, and materiality’ of the music, highlighting where possibilities and the unknown thrive.”

The announcement of the record emerged earlier this week alongside the release of a music video by Jack Anderson accompanying a segment of the upcoming record.
