Factory Floor’s Gabe Gurnsey Releases Debut Solo Track

Gabe Gurnsey, drummer and founder of Factory Floor, is set to release his debut single – a two track 12" coming through Drone Records. A Side Falling Phase is 8 minutes of sublime electronic body music – it's synthetic pulses sounding curiously human, apparently squeezed from a more than willing machine. FF singer Nik Void is on hand to breathe some vocals over the rubber bassline, and the satisfyingly electro-clash results have been on repeat in the office all day. B Side Partaloa is more synth goodness, this time coming from a more subdued place, deeper, and perhaps a little bit Chicago-ier. Both tracks show that the Factory Floor collective are still firing on every level – recommended.
