Camden Crawl Release Free 74 (!) Track Album
Jesus, talk about going all out. Camden Crawl have just launched a new app and a pre-event compilation to accompany everyone's favourite annual celebration of digging new music whilst getting utterly shitfaced. The app, available free for Android and iPhone from here, looks pretty useful, having schedules, maps and info on bands- so those days of staggering round Kentish Town searching for some teenage buzzband in the hammering rain are hopefully a thing of the past.
The compilation, released in collaboration with 7Digital, is a truly mammoth affair, weighing in at a full 74 tracks. There are contributions from bands and producers across the spectrum – we'd draw Ransom Note readers' attention to tracks from D/R/U/G/S, Mouse On Mars, Livity Sound, and Visionist, but if we're honest we haven''t heard of a fair whack of the bands on there, so there could be any amount of gems. Get sifting through over on the 7Digital website.
The Crawl takes place over the summer solstice weekend, June 20th – 21st, with events running from 3pm each day til the wee small hours in the morning. Tickets are still available, starting from less than £30, from the offical website.
