The London MC will showcase new material at an exclusive London show.

Ransom Note will return to The Social on the 12th of May as part of our ongoing residency which pairs live acts alongside DJ’s. This time we will be joined by none other than Peckham based MC Pinty.

Pinty is an MC who rose to prominence as part of the same South London crew as King Krule and Jamie Isaac, and has collaborated with Metronomy and Emma-Jean Thackray.

As a lyricist he is influenced by MCs like Skibadee, and story-tellers like Willie Nelson and Jay-Z. Adept at rapping intricately over jazz-tinged house, hip-hop beats, drum ’n’ bass and more, making him one of the most exciting voices in alternative UK music.

His recent mixtape ‘Pinty’s House’ saw him work with George Fitzgerald, Karma Kid, King Krule, TEED, Afriqua and Jadasea.

His energetic live shows are legendary and this one off show will see him showcase brand new music for the first time alongside tracks from the Pinty’s House mixtape and cult classics from his debut ‘City Limits’EP.
