The release features twelve tracks including contributions from the likes of Jurango, Olive T, Carista, Yazzus and more.

The Black Artist Database was launched as a community lead project designed to showcase and celebrate the talents of Black artists in music across a broad array of styles and sounds. Since its formation it has grown from strength to strength in helping to push forward aspiring artists, emphasising gaps in equality and representation whilst creating a collaborative cross-continental network of artists and industry professionals, furthering Black ownership of our music and working towards Black liberation.

The second compilation from the community lead group features twelve tracks which span across an array of styles featuring Bass, House, Techno and beyond from some of the most exciting and innovative producers out there at present.

Key features come from the likes of Jurango, fresh off the back of recent material for Livity Sound. Utrecht based DJ and producer Carista contributes a banging acid cut built for the clubs whilst Tresor affiliated Yazzus weaves between Techno and Electro on a militant fast paced dancefloor bomb.

The label has described the second in the ‘Synergy’ series as follows:

“The release maintains the core vision of the B.A.D. label as one of, quite simply, celebrating the kaleidoscopic range of contemporary Black electronic producers. Synergy Vol. 2 maps joyful, energetic sonic moments while welcoming everyone to the party. Every day is a good day to support and buy from Black artists.”
