Savages, The Horrors, Squarepusher And More For Plissken Festival

Plisskën Festival have announced that post-punk London breakthroughs Savages, chaotic amen shuffler Squarepusher, doom godfathers Electric Wizard and more are to join the line-up that for their 2015 Summer two-dayer. Also included in the new announcement is rising synth-pop star Perfume Genius and dark indie rockers The Twilight Sad. They join the likes of Beardyman, The Horrors and noisy Texans …And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of The Dead. Grunge powerhouse Mudhoney also join the main stage line-up while in the ‘Big Club’ Brodinski will be sharing a stage with dark electronic artist Evian Christ, with US rap group Ratking playing just outside.

Saturday’s line-up includes headliners Mogwai celebrating 20 years since their formation, alongside NY power-rapper Pharoahe Monch, oddball  multi-instrumentalist songwriter Ariel Pink, Copenhagen-based experimental pop-rave trio, WhoMadeWho, garage heroes Thee Oh Sees and ancient lairy “punk-hop” grouches Sleaford Mods. Basically, it's one of the most varied line-ups we've seen in a festival season dominated by wall to wall identikit electronic line ups. Tickets are a mere 50 Euro for the weekend, and we're awarding bouns points for the fact it's held in Greece, the first country to say a big fuck you to our evil banking overlords. Huzzah!
