Esg, Weatherall And More For Alfresco Festival

Blackpool based Alfresco Festival have announced the line up to this year's one day event. Taking place on Sunday May 24th at Blackpool Cricket Club, the fest that combines a left-of-centre bill together with family friendly vibes will be headlined by New York post punk evergreens ESG. Other big names include Andrew Weatherall and Sean Johnston's A Love From Outer Space, wonky disco magic from Shit Robot, and classic Factory records fodder from Section 25.
A tent entirely dedicated to family activities is promised, with theatre, science workshops, circus skills, and (and we're sold on this one) a robotoc, life-size baby T-Rex.
The full line up to the festival is as follows:
ESG, Sh*t Robot, A LOVE FROM OUTER SPACE , Hackney Colliery Band, Morgan Hammer, Section 25, Finitribe w/a Finiflex Production, 2 Billion Beats, Cowbell DJs, 7” of Bliss, Speak to The Streets, Joe’s Bakery, Martin Brew, Richard Hector Jones, Soft Rocks, Nancy Noise, Gemini Brothers, Phil Mison, Clandestino, Andy Taylor, Haules Baules, Richard Norris, Ruf Dug, Craig Bratley, Chris Duckenfield, Tronik Youth, Terry Childs, Ben Pistor.
