Dj Premier To Bring New Live Show To London

For many, DJ Premier is one of the greatest producers hip hop has ever seen, so it seems fitting that the 10th anniversary of London hip hop promoters Doctor's Orders should be celebrated with the debut UK performance of Premier's new live show. The ex-Gangstarr man has put together a band of musicians to play his classic productions live, so we presume fans can look forward to hearing new versions of such bangers as Biggie's Kick in the Door, KRS-One's MCs Act Like They Don't Know, Nas's NY State of Mind, Royce Da 5'9s Boom and every Gangstarr song ever written… The show takes place at The Forum, Kentish Town on Saturday 12th September, and all early bird tickets have now sold out, leaving the top tier tickets selling fast at £22.50. Support comes from Fatima and The Four Owls, as well as a DJ set from Premier himself, alongside the Doctor's Orders residents Spin Doctor, Mr Thing, Mo Fingaz, Russ Ryan & MC Pranksta. More info and tickets available over here, catch a teaser of the band rehearsing below –
