The Barcelona-based duo release their third album via B.F.E Records and their own imprint Màgia Roja.

Dame Area are Barcelona-based duo Silvia Kostance and Viktor L. Crux. For labels like Mannequin Records, B.F.E Records and their own imprint/organisation Màgia Roja, the pair have shared their raw, distorted take on industrial, minimal synth, EBM and post-punk, characterised by propulsive rhythms and DIY sensibilities. It’s no surprise that their live shows are also widely renowned, Dame Area’s sound lends itself perfectly to the stage, and on the group’s third album they translate a similar “assaultive intensity” to the release. The first of two twin LPs, Toda la mentira sobre Dame Area / All the Lies about Dame Area explores “an original seductive idea of pop, laced with avant-garde subversion” and sees the pair push the boundaries more than ever before.
