The founding member of The Comet Is Coming & Soccer96 lurches into euphoric acid house on his electrifying debut solo single

An integral figure of the vital London recording studio & venue Total Refreshment Centre, Danalogue has produced and mixed records for Alabaster DePlume, Joshua Idehen & more. He now makes his debut solo turn with the single ‘Sonic Hypnosis‘, after spearheading the eclectic jazz group The Comet is Coming and the electronic duo Soccer96.

A perfect shot of gnarled 303 oscillations, vintage electro vocals and blissful house, ‘Sonic Hypnosis‘ seems to hit a sweet spot between Factory Floor, Golden Teacher, Space Dimension Controller, as well as earlier acid forebears like A Guy Called Gerald and DJ Pierre. Warped peak time music with plenty of warmth.

Danalogue’s output has been previously supported by the likes of Mike D (The Beastie Boys), Thom Yorke (Radiohead), Mary Anne Hobbs & Tom Ravenscroft, and his music has been featured on the TV shows I May Destroy You, Black Ops and Utopia. He also co-wrote the score to the PlayStation game C-Smash, alongside Ken Ishii.

Sonic Hypnosis‘ is out now digitally and as a limited edition dubplate on Castles In Space, alongside a video by the visual artist Innerstrings, known for his work with Overmono, James Holden & Andrew Weatherall’s The Sabres of Paradise.
