Premiere: Strategy – Forgotten Encounter

Portland producer Strategy has clocked up over 20 years in the dance music game, and has to be considered as one of the most versatile producers out there, having released on labels as varied as Idle Hands, 100% Silk and Kranky.
Future Shock is his debut EP for Chrissy's label The Nite Owl Diner, and it plays host to four blistering rave-inspired dancefloor cuts. Our pick is 'Forgotten Encounter', a surprisingly breezy jungle/2-step hybrid with a nagging synth melody that'll embed itself in your brain in no time at all. Listen here:
Future Shock is out now (12" vinyl) and 15th October (digital) via The Nite Owl Diner, buy it here.
