She smirked at him as he approached, she knew what he was looking for. There was a glimmer in the corner of her eye which left him wondering what sort of devilish things she might have seen, what sort of reckless abandon she had left behind.

Such casual attitude usually meant trouble, yet somehow he couldn’t manage to look away. She had him hooked.

The bar was crowded but it were as if it were only the two of them. A thick fog lingered from all of the smoke – the shouts and cries of partygoers bothered him not.

He was only here for one thing.
