Premiere: Matthew Dear – Head In The Clouds

There was once a boy who never seemed to be looking where he was going.

He looked up.

At breakfast, he watched clouds drift past the kitchen window and forgot to eat his toast. On his way to school, he stepped around cracks without seeing them because he was busy following birds across the sky. During lessons, while everyone else copied sums and dates, he imagined what the clouds beyond the glass might be doing.

“Your head is in the clouds,” his teacher often said.

The boy thought this sounded like a wonderful place for it to be.
