Premiere: Interstate Feat. Quails – Sweetest Pain

Story About You is a new label based in Bielefeld, a north-western German city infamous for being a myth constructed and kept alive by the Illuminati. Or so some jokers/conspiracy theorists would have you believe.

Of course the city is very real, as is the label, who are too real to play the PR game for now. Out next month, their third release features a variety of artists, separated by geography but united under the banner of deep house.

Our pick is a track by young producer and label co-founder Interstate, who's previously released on the Danish imprint Waxtefacts. Built around a backdrop of syrupy synths, 'Sweetest Pain' is a soulful, old-skool stomper featuring the dreamy vocals of Australian singer Quails. Listen below:
