Golden Bug returns to La Belle Records for the first time in six years.

Throughout the streets, food vendors and shop fronts stocked delicious snacks; there was something for everyone. The sweet smells and aromas filled nostrils, luring passersby off the road and through the doors. You were spoilt for choice: temptations were everywhere and they came in all shapes and sizes, sampling more than one place was the only option, otherwise indecisiveness would certainly be the dish of the day.

French producer Golden Bug makes his return to La Belle Records for the first time in six years for a new album Piscolabis. Marking his fourth long player, the release is a deep dive into psychedelic electronica and features a stellar cast of collaborators from regulars pals The Liminañas, to singer Vega Voga and producer Tim Glass. The 11 tracks weave between different strains and sounds that Golden Bug has experimented with over the years: there’s psych pop and dub sitting next to ritualistic rhythms and kraut-influenced electronica – like its Spanish translation, on Piscolabis there’s a tasty snack for everyone.
