Premiere: Gerd – Pleasure Groove

Running along the narrow streets, they finally emerged into the main square where the temple stood majestically over the assembled masses, gleaming in the midday sun. A sudden silence swept through the crowd, punctuated by urgent whispering, as the prophetess emerged in her flowing white robes. They hung on her every movement as she slowly raised her hands heavenward and started to speak.
Dutch house veteran Gerd returns to AUS Music next week with The Prophetess EP, home to four top drawer peak-time bangers. Our pick is 'Pleasure Groove' which mixes punchy breaks with technicolour synths and a frankly rude bassline. Listen below:
The Prophetess is out 28th September via AUS Music, pre-order it here.
