All enveloping ambient, bass heavy shoegaze from the Swiss sound artist.

Emmanuel De La Paix,  Set out on a voyage, in an oddish haze.
With an Ocean Drill in hand, straight to his brain, He sought to plumb depths, a most curious bane.

Through waves of confusion, he delved with delight, Seeking secrets untold, in the depths of the night.
But alas! The drill sputtered, it whimpered and whined, As Emmanuel pondered, what trick had he mined?

For the Ocean Drill, in its enigmatic spree, Decided to dance, in a jubilant spree.
It twirled and it swirled, with a mischievous glee, Sending Emmanuel afloat, in a sea of debris.

So off sailed the drill, with a merry refrain, Leaving Emmanuel adrift, in his curious brain.
And thus ends the tale, of a nonsensical quest, With Emmanuel De La Paix, quite perplexed, I’d suggest!

Emmanuel De La Paix’s third album, “The Physics of Clouds,” draws from his sonic art and visual research, inspired by mirrored images of daily life revealing hidden dimensions within reality. Through reimagining iconic landmarks like the Eiffel Tower as steel sculptures against the sky, he explores the quest to capture invisible essences amidst billions of images.

The album, akin to a periodic table of elements, weaves simple motifs into intricate compositions, echoing the interplay of sounds, images, and emotions. Inspired by landscapes in Switzerland and Iceland, De La Paix’s music celebrates nature’s influence on creativity. “The Physics of Clouds” invites listeners to examine where soundscapes echo the ethereal majesty of clouds, evoking wonder and introspection.
