At nighttime, shrouded in the dim light of the moon, a strange figure would often appear. It was as if they were a mirage, a figment of one’s imagination, but the sightings had become so regular it must have been real… A silhouetted shadow lingering for just a moment: one minute they were there and the next they were gone; could the mind simply be playing tricks?

Hot on the heels of their second sprawling charity compilation, PROXIMITY, Andy Garvey’s Pure Space label turn their attentions to a new name on the block, 23 year old producer Dividens. Across the four tracks on his Blueprints EP he gives us a window into his unique sound which blurs the lines between contemporary DnB, electro, dub and jungle. It’s slick and deftly produced, demonstrating that the Naarm-based artist’s skills far belie his years.
