Premiere: Cafe de la Jungle – Tapuaya Bush

The strange song floated through the trees, growing ever louder as you plunged deeper into the jungle. It were as if the whole of the jungle had come together for its own personal concert; a natural spectacle that united animals, insects and reptiles. The frogs chanted while the cicadas buzzed loudly, joining the birds in a cacophony of sound that radiated for miles and miles.
Dans le Desert is a brand new label seeking to “translate the movement of dancing spirits into language of sound”. Their first ritualistic offering comes from Cafe de la Jungle, a seven-track EP titled ‘Dancing with Cicadas’. Like the name suggests each production marries organic and natural atmospheres with fluid rhythms to oscillate your body and hypnotic soundscapes to open your mind and connect with your spirit.
