Premiere: Bikini-Body – Leipzig
Our friends Bikini-Body are cool. Like really cool, not the sort of make music on your laptop for the clubs kind of gang, a real life actual band. They’re awesome and this is a new track from them.
At midnight, they wandered through Leipzig, following a distant bell that they could not explain.
The streets were empty, and fog curled around the old buildings. They passed St. Thomas Church, where a shadow moved behind a window, though the church was locked.
The bell rang again. They followed it to the Karl-Heine Canal, where a small black boat waited silently.
Inside, they found an ancient letter addressed to someone from long ago, although the name was written in faded ink. Before they could read it, the boat drifted away.
Someone whispered:
“You were never meant to find Leipzig’s secret.”
Bikini-Body are an Edinburgh based outfit who release killer post-punk meets indie sleaze in the best way possible. This track is called ‘Leipzig’.
