Wolf & Lamb – Free Ep & Fabric Blog Takeover

Music

Attention fabric space cadets… Gabagoogahgah! This is Charlie aka Cnyce from Soul Clap. Do not adjust your keyboard, there is nothing wrong, this is simply a blog takeover. We continue bringing you the freshest interweb content in anticipation of Saturday’s bonanza!

So here on the Soul Clap mothership, we don’t exactly have our record label (we leave that to Wolf + Lamb), but what we DO have is our answer to an endless desire to share music with the world and that’s our FreE.P. series. Our first release, The RnB FreE.P was launched on December 1st 2009 and featured reworks off some of our favorite 90′s RnB jams. Now almost a year later, we’ve been touring nonstop and meeting talented musicians all along the way who have shared their productions with us. From this massive pool of music we’ve selected some of our secret dancefloor bombs from this summer now we proudly present The Clap & Friends FreE.P This release features music from Wolf + Lamb’s No Regular Play, NavBox hailing from Washington DC, Leeds based Death On The Balcony, and of course yours truly, Soul Clap.

As if an entire EP of free music wasnt enough for you space cadets, we’re including one more added bonus! With ‘Extravaganza’ getting all the attention on our latest Wolf + Lamb Black EP, we feel like the B2 Side, ‘Dreams Of Tomorrow’ got overlooked. It has made so many magical moments happen for us and we want the world to give it another spin so we’re giving it away for FREE on the fabric Soundcloud page! This record is more of a mash up than an edit, with the musical genius of 70′s R&B artist Lonnie Liston Smith beautifully blended on top of Lee Curtiss’ Smoking Mirrors’ drum work. Much love to Lee for letting the carriage pull the horse for a change and much love to all you space cadets of course!
