william onyeabor film & Remix LP out soon

The fantastic reaction to the Luaka Bop compilation ‘Who Is William Onyeabor?’ has spread the psychedelic funk of the previously unheralded musician far and wide, and there is still plenty more Onyeabor goodness on the horizon.

Luaka Bop have announced a film and remix/covers album to come, with the 30 minute documentary due out soon and the remix LP (featuring re-rubs from the likes of Hot Chip and Optimo) seeing a release on Record Store Day.

The film has been produced by Alldayeveryday and should be seeing the light of day in March.
