To generate funds for people affected by the war in Ukraine, Lithuanian labels whypeopledance and Ledotmat Musique have joined forces to release WhyPeopleWar: a 100+ track compilation spread across two volumes.

The release features a diverse breadth of music from all over the world – techno, acid, experimental, broken beat, wave, synth-pop and more – made by artists including Credit OO, Das Ding, Kito Jempere, Interstellar Funk, Borusiade, Mixxon, Red Axes, Sacha Mambo, Curses and Que Sakamoto to name but a few.

All sales from the release will be donated to Red Cross Ukraine, who are helping refugees who’ve been displaced as well as those who have stayed behind and are left with no shelter, food and water. Please donate if you’re able to do so.

WhyPeopleDance and Ledotmat Musique said: “After three days of no sleep, we are proud to present to you ‘WhyPeopleWar’ Vol. 1 and 2, fundraisers with more than 100 tracks. We send a huge THANK YOU to all artists who participated and the studios that helped them to master the tracks in record time! Let this symbol be the message we send out there with this fundraising compilation. Let this music uplift the human condition and do its part in dragging us out of this situation. From Lithuania with love!”

WhyPeopleWar Vol 1 & 2 are out now.
