So, first off, the new Factory Floor album 25 25 is immense. We've had it on rotation in the office since scoring a copy, and we suggest you get it onto your hard drive as soon as it drops (August 19th fact fans). The record was made by Nik Void and Gabe Gurnsey locking themselves away in a former silk factory, somewhere in the middle of nowhere, and jamming out endless loops of minimal machine music. With the tracks recorded live, then stripped down to essentials, the album is a throbbing mini-epic of analogue techno, and new single Ya an obvious stand out. In typically hands-on fashion, Nik and Gabe have directed and edited the video to Ya, with help from Tilly Morris, and the end result is as minimal as the track itself – check it out below –
