Turin’s Midnight Theorem to host Dada Pogrom in rare appearance
The Dada Pogrom music project was founded by Kenneth Walter Balys in 1989, this will be a rare appearance in the Italian city of Turin.
Turin based music collective Midnight Theorem have announced that they will be hosting a rare performance from Dada Pogrom in the city on the 16th of October.
The event will take place at Blah Blah in what will be an exclusive live showcase of an experimental, electronic music project which has often been as illusive as it is crucial.
Lead by Kenneth Walter Balys, Dada Pogrom have released electronic music since the 80’s, his own background is unusually technical havingworked in areas including aerial geophysics, communications engineering and embedded software, and incorporates that technical background into his music and art.
As the Great-grandson of Iceland’s beloved composer Dr. Sigvaldi S. Kaldalóns he is a member of the IEEE.
His name was mounted on the NASA Phoenix Probe that landed on Mars in 2008.
Dada Pogrom will perform Live on Friday October 16th at Blah Blah, Via Po 21, Turin at 22:00.
