Too Slow To Disco Volume 1
Described as “an album of cocaine, cocktails and sunsets”, the first volume of Too Slow To Disco will be released on 2nd May courtesy of How Do You Are? (City Slang). This compilation album brings together a collection of smooth tracks of the late 70s.
Listeners can expect to hear the likes of Jan Hammer Group, The Doobie Brothers and even Fleetwood Mac amongst a wealth of names from years gone by on this new compilation. Though it may be a period of musical history that is often scoffed at for being over-lavish and excessive, the music of the late 70s has been a great inspiration for a range of artists including Haim, Midlake and even perhaps Daft Punk.
This newly formed compilation will have you turning back the clocks and reliving one of the most commonly overlooked eras of popular music history.
Too Slow To Disco (Volume 1) will be released on May 2nd, for more information see the official website.
You can hear snippets of some of the track that will be featured on the album below.
