Born Orlando Higginbottom, TEED has spent over a decade building a distinctive voice in electronic music. He grew up in Oxford in a musical household and was classically trained from an early age. Alongside that, he developed an early obsession with jungle and drum and bass, digging through records and shaping the foundations of his sound.

Now based in Los Angeles, he says the mix reflects the feeling of a night starting to come together. That “pre-gaming” moment where things are still open and the night has not quite begun.

Across 27 tracks, the DJ-Kicks brings together a blend of exclusives, reworks and selections from artists including Joe Goddard, Jacques Greene, Austin Ato, Casino Times and others. It also includes five TEED exclusives, among them new originals, reworks and a cover of KC & The Sunshine Band’s “Please Don’t Go”.

The mix moves between peak time energy and more stripped back, introspective moments, before easing into a softer close. It is shaped by movement, memory and the atmosphere of the dancefloor just before things peak.
