Slow Motion Records Prepare Comp Of New Italian Dance Wave

Since forming inb 2009, Slow Motion Records have become essential in pushing the sound of new Italo disco producers. The label are now preparing the first compilation Italian Dance Wave, a 22 track set packed with sparkly arpeggios, chunky basslines, stomp-plod drums, camp synth stabs and the occasional sassy vocal. The compilation is going to feature of a mix of label boss Franz Underwear's disco demolition favourites and a handful of brand new productions from the likes of Clap Rules, Bottin and Riders of the Lost Arp.
You can grab a sneak preview of what to expect below – Francisco & Cosmo's Juno Beat has got it all going on – including a sample nicked from Indeep's lesser known block party favourite When Boys Talk (full points for train spotter skills there..)
The compilation hits shops around the end of January – more info available on the Slow Motion website
