Sedef Adasi set to release debut EP, ‘Fantasy Zone’, on Public Possession

Munich-based label and record shop Public Possession welcome DJ and producer Sedef Adasi to the label for her debut EP, ‘Fantasy Zone’.
Set for release on 4th June, the EP is made up of four tracks that take in Italo and acid house influences, and “joyfully invoke images of sweaty nights in dark clubs, in a flash of togetherness”. After the pandemic cancelled her DJ schedule, she spent much of lockdown focused on her productions, the fruits of which make up this EP and signal a sound that’s a true artistic embodiment of her identity.
Born to Turkish parents in Northerm Macedonia, Sedef’s taste for music developed early through her parent’s record collection and Western pop and new wave like Madonna and Depeche Mode, via her older sisters. In her now home of Augsburg she runs the celebrated HAMAM club night, a queer party that breaks down cultural sterotypes and celebrates talent both local and international.
