The pioneering electronic record label has announced the release of a fifteen track compilation which features label affiliates to showcase the sound of the imprint in full force. It features music by the likes of East Man, Dj Nate, Skee Mask, Ital Tek, Gábor Lázár and Rian Treanor amongst many others.
The first Planet Mu releases emerged in 1995, the label acting as an outlet by which to release music by µ-Ziq. It was then later reimagined and gathered independent status from its predecessor, Virgin, in 1998 and has been pioneered by Mike Paradinas ever since. The label has been responsible for releasing some of the most definitive pieces of electronic music over a twenty five year period with the likes of Venetian Snares, Remarc, Luke Vibert, Pinch, Neil Landstrumm, Dj Rashad, Slugabed and Machinedrum all having appeared on the imprint.
