oslo opens on 17th jan

After a setback involving a collapsed basement had pushed the opening back, Oslo will open it’s doors to the public on 17th Jan with a launch party proper taking place the following night and featuring NTS’s big boss Mr Wonderful and World Unknown honcho Andy Blake on DJ duties.
The likes of Leisure System and Standard Place have parties planned in the space in the coming weeks and Jay Daniel is set to grace the turntables in late February. Bang next door to Hackney Central, the spot on Amhurst Road – an old disused part of the original train station – will also serve food that is said to fall between Norwegian and ‘classic east end’ (jellied pickled herring perhaps?) alongside craft beers, before slipping into party mode late at night.
