New Nottingham venue Fisher Gate Point open with stacked summer series
Nottingham’s newest venue, Fisher Gate Point, has announced a string of intimate summer parties which will be the first in an innovative programme of events at the space.
Prompted by a shared passion to nurture the creative arts within the city, the multi-disciplinary arts and event space was acquired last year by party stalwart’s Wigflex, label and independent promoter I’m Not From London, youth music project Circle of Light and The Garage, Kool Kat and former Nottingham club The Lofthouse.
Kicking off on the rescheduled date of 24th July, and curated by the Wigflex team, across the series FGP welcome Peach, Jossy Mitsu, Yazmin Lacey, Bradley Zero, Dr Banana, Craig Richards, SNO, Young Marco and, of course, Lukas Wigflex himself, who’ll be opening preceedings with an all-dayer.
The venue, on the southside of the city, will house two recording studios; a co-working space; a Garden meeting space for nurturing seedling ideas; workshop rooms; a bar/kitchen; a multi-functional events space equipped with a custom-built high spec sound & light system as well as the dedicated Circle of Light and Wigflex studios.
