Mumdance Announces New Mix Project ‘Shared Meanings’
Jack Adams aka Mumdance's new mix project is inspired by the dance floor experiences that transcend location and language to unite people. Comprising 32 exclusive tracks across 97 minutes, drawn from a panorama of contemporary electronic music, Shared Meanings is the natural next step from Radio Mumdance, the far-reaching radio project that saw Adams play back-to-back with some of his favourite artists.
Featuring music from the likes of Peder Mannerfelt, Chevel, Bambounou and JK Flesh, the mix is also home to a brand new track from Mumdance & Logos called 'Teachers', a riff on the Daft Punk classic that pays tribute to the underground innovators who lit the torch that Adams is now attempting to carry forwards. Check the artwork and full tracklist below.
Shared Meanings will drop as a free digital download on 20th November, followed three days later by a digital, DJ-friendly compilation, a collector’s edition cassette and a vinyl release featuring five of the tracks.
The launch party takes place 23rd November at Oval Space, with Mumdance joined on the night by Speedy J, Dopplereffekt, Lee Gamble, Logos and a b2b set between two unannounced DnB legends. Tickets & more info available here.
