Mos Def To Perform J Dilla Catalogue

For one night only Yasiin Bey, commonly known as Mos Def will perform the back catalogue of J Dilla, one of the most influential Hip Hop artists to come out of Detroit. Soundcrash will host the one-off event on the 11th of June at The O2's Indigo in tribute of the late Jay Dee.

J Dilla is still considered a legend and a huge influence on the scene, before Dilla passed away in 2006 he had risen significantly since the 90s, and collaborated with A Tribe Called Quest, Busta Rhymes, Madlib, D’Angelo, MF DOOM, The Pharcyde and Mos Def. As a collaborator with the man himself, it's only natural that Mos Def pay homage to the life's work of Dilla.
