The Montreal producer is back with new music.

Lunice is set to release his first album in six years – the acclaimed producer and one half of Electronic duo TNGHT alongside Hudson Mohawke announced a new single No Commas which features Cali Cartier earlier this week.

The album is titled ‘Open’ and is forthcoming on LuckyMe, a record label with which he has held a longstanding affiliation and close relationship.

The first track teased from the album features Cali Carter, upon which Lunice reflects.

“This track is the result of multiple natural occurrences where the melody, drums and vocal performance coincidentally fit with each other in the moment of creation without any prior motive behind it. I find these instinctual moments of creativity beautiful and inspiring.”

There are a number of collaborators and guest appearances on the forthcoming album including Cali Cartier, Stargate, Zach Zoya, Yuki Dreams Again, Jay Century, DAGR and Grammy-winning producer DRTWRK who has worked with the likes of Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Joyner Lucas and Denzel Curry.
