LuckyMe announce album from Nathan Micay fka Bwana
There have been rumours for a while now that Nathan Micay would be due to release his first album on the Scottish imprint this year but little had been publicly disclosed. Yesterday saw the announcement of ‘Blue Spring’, the debut LP by Nathan Micay, a singular producer who has recently appeared on the likes of Whities and ESP Institute. His music has been widely championed and the release will be his debut full length album having only previously released music via EP's as Bwana and under his own name.
The Toronto born, Berlin based producer and dj has become a firm favourite on the circuit and as such he has been exposed to a sprawling array of musical influences and styles. As such the album spans a broad remit drawing upon the essence of IDM, jungle, trance, house, breakbeat and ambient.
