Love Child launch their new label with EP from co-founder Josh Caffé
Queer London club night Love Child are set to launch their new label arm with an EP from co-founder, resident and Paranoid London front-man Josh Caffé, featuring remixes from fellow resident Jaye Ward and Naive boss Violet.
The label will act as a home and platform for pioneering queer artists and will see them work closely with the artist on the aesthetic. For every release Love Child will also donate a percentage of the sales to an LGBTQ charity, starting with homeless and crisis shelter The Outside Project.
Love Child, the club night was launched in 2018 by Josh and WYS!'s Jacob Husely, as a celebration of the queer tea dance movement in the 1950's – an important and integral part of the LGBTQ scene in New York and London. Joining the dots between house, disco, techno and beyond, Love Child have hosted the likes of Hannah Holland, ND Baumecker, Sonikku and Violet, as well as partnering with ADONIS and Opulence for club nights.
"Love Child gives a big smiley face and middle finger to the scene's self imposed segregation, after all clubbing creates communities and brings people together."
Box Talk is set for digital release in February exclusively through Bandcamp. Listen to mixes from Josh, Violet and Jaye below.
