Laurel Halo to curate next DJ-Kicks

Laurel Halo will mix the 68th edition of the DJ-kicks mix series, !K7 have announced today. Over the course of 60 minutes the American producer packs in 29 tracks, featuring seven exclusives, including two of her own and others from Machinewoman, Rrose, FIT Siegel, Nick León and Ikonika.

The Berlin-based producer has made homes on imprints like Hyperdub, Latency and Honest Jon’s, carving her own distinctive sound that embraces both electronic and acoustic, organic and synthetic.

Her DJ-kicks mix launches with her own track, ‘Public Art’, which sets the tone for what’s to come, before weaving through disparate textures showcasing productions from Red Axes, Parris, Dario Zenker and Final Cut.

The mix is set for release on 22nd March.
