Fujiya & Miyagi Announce Trio Of Ep’s And London Show
Brighton-based Fujiya & Miyagi are releasing a trio of EPs which will accumulate in a new album in early 2017. The band have been making experimental, Krautrock influenced electro-pop for over fifteen years now. 'EP1' comes with triple gate-fold sleeve for housing 'EP2' & 'EP3' and singer David Best says, “We wanted to find a different way to release an album’s worth of songs. Rather than the traditional format of releasing an album in one go we liked the idea of separating it into three distinct segments”. The lead track ‘Serotonin Rushes’ is described as "a glorious, chugging, disco-funk rager that sonically captures the title of the song, oozing purity and a sense of distilled euphoria". Listen here:
Fujiya & Miyagi – EP1 is released by Impossible Objects Of Desire on 27th May 2016 and can be pre-ordered HERE. The band are also playing a London show at Oslo on 3rd June 2016.
